Malaysian habituals

Following in the true style of Anne sekira I found that this thing is pretty accurate. On describing Malaysian behaviours; its true because people in Malaysia actually think and act like that. heh.. sounds realistic. there are a few more things though.. i.e. you cross roads whenever and whereever it seems to be convinient for you. Red lights and crosswalks on the road are just for the reference. If someone wonders if you are crazy, you can just say "in Malaysia cars are affraid of people". :)

Part of the true story by the way ;-)

Are you Malaysian?!
And yes those are so true. I was absolutely terrified of Malaysian drivers when I was there. Absolutely horrific the way they drive, but I must commend them on their quick reaction time and how they always seem to avoid getting into accident.

Nup. not malaysian (but central asian :p). I've been to malaysia for quite a number of times, and stayed quite some time there. Not as much as thailand, taiwan and HK though, but still.

The quick reaction and sorta random driving style is very common in Asia, I guess. In Taiwan it gets to the absolute extreme at the south. i.e. even if you see a green light in front you still need to look around if there's any car about to cross the road, then you can go. The traffic lights there are truely for reference only :) (Taipei is more organized in this sense :))
