I don't mean to seem like a prick... but Im going to anyway when I say that I don't think he was exactly the best thing for Israel(or Palestine)

I can see where your coming from in a way but ,in my opinion, he is no Gandhi. However I do wish him well on his road to recovery.

And I do think "MYspace Tom" is the next Hitler... he's even got his plans for world domination on his white board

Frankly, he wasn't that great a leader anyway. He had some great deals with the Bush family, that's for sure... but just because the Torah says the promised land belongs to the Israelites because they were opressed by Egypt for so long, it doesn't mean we have to take it as concrete political advice. The Torah--as well as the Bible, ultimately--is full of contradictions. The Israelites were no more deserving of that land than the Muslims.

Leviticus tells us to stone women if they are caught cheating. Does this mean Israelites are any more important than the others? Don't think so.
