Recap. With A Title. Arrrr!

Mmm, concise. Maybe.

Sunday, March 15
Sunday was fun. Surprisingly similar to Saturday in terms of places, actually. Justine, Katie, and I had a late-ish start, contributed to by: 1) Katie and I having stayed up late chatting (and Katie staying up even later until Grace got off the phone), 2) my whole tiring Boston adventure on Saturday, and 3) Katie's parents debating if she'd be home in time and if she should be able to go at all. But we figured we had enough time, and (finally) left.

I think Science Park is my favorite T stop so far, because you get to go up! And you get a view and it's pretty and above ground. :D We met up with Satu and went to the Museum of Science (didn't forget the passes this time!), and headed straight for the Mythic Creatures exhibit. That was cool, if small. I liked the life-size displays, and the variety of animals was pretty cool, but more interactive stuff would've been nice. Definitely wasn't worth the $19 of a regular trip, but $5 was nice. :)

After the exhibit (and the musical stairs!), we decided caffeine and food was in order, so we headed to Quincy Market. On foot! With the walking and saving of monies. Terribly exciting. But Satu's good sense of direction and my decent sense combined meant that we actually didn't get lost. So, the day wasn't as full of T stops and places as Saturday, but still quite fun. Following Quincy Market, we backtracked through Haymarket to get to the T stop from Saturday -- I had to retrace our steps exactly, including narration. ("This is where the bagpiper-guy was, followed by that croud of drunk Irish people. Oh, and here was where that creepy old guy came up to Karen and Ri' and kept saying that she was pretty and asking Ri' isn't she pretty and yeah!")

There wasn't much other than that. Justine and I dropped Katie at home. We, of course, checked out her beautiful, newly-cleaned room and saw visitors and chatted with her family before heading home. Justine dropped me off, and I went to get Chinese food, which was good if a rather long trip for just dinner. :P And that was Sunday. Oy.

Monday was also four paragraphs of stuff! LIES! I don't remember if I did anything except work from 1 to 8. Which is a decent portion of the day, so there probably isn't really that much else to remember about the day. :P

Tuesday, March 17 -- Saint Patrick's Day! Woo?
So, despite being half-Irish, I only accidentally wore a green shirt on St. Patty's Day. I guess even if I hadn't, I probably would have changed it later on, after realizing "oh, hey, I should wear green? I guess." Anyway, I went to donate blood with my dad, but had put my wallet under something on my desk, and didn't have time to find it (since my dad was already rushing me to go even though I wasn't actually late or anything yet...) and left without it. Which isn't so good when you need either your donor card or at least an ID to give blood. So we didn't. :(

Instead, we went to pick up wood from Home Depot! To make a shelf dealy for our new-ish DVD player and new TV, and other wood so my dad can fix (remake) the clothesline. And so, yes, that was achieved. And splinters were not! I was proud. :D The rest of the day wasn't much -- library 3 to 8. I did see Justine, Andrew, and Tory for a bit. I was going to get dinner with Justine and Andrew, but they were trying to go see Watchmen, and Andrew starting freaking out about getting tickets and people and getting to the show on time and all that, so food was not had. :( Oh well.

Wednesday, March 18
NO LIBRARY! MUAHAHAHA! And, therefore, a day of not doing much. Or at least not getting dressed, though maybe cleaning and doing laundry and hanging out on the compy. But that, alas, was foiled by Justine saying we should go to the consignment shop owned by their family friend. :D So we went. And I tried on a bunch of shoes with ridiculous heels. Justine and Paige were all chatty with their friend's mom ("Oh, he's in California with his girlfriend? We were wondering if he wanted to see Watchmen. Hahaha, I guess not." "Aw, yeah, I bet he'd love to, but oh well!" etc.), I kept randomly butting in to say "look how tall I am!" in the 4-inch-heels I could mostly walk in. Apparently, thrift stores have lots of awesome shoes that tend to fit my feet. XD I'm certainly not complaining! But, anyway, I did not get any of those shoes. I got a couple blouses, shirts, and a nice purse (since I only have whatever-bags and no nice-looking purses). And I conveniently got Justine's we-know-you discount.

What I'm most proud of about the trip, though, was finding Paige this goooorgeous prom dress. It's funny, because it's pretty much a combination of Justine's last two dressy-dresses. Black, with white flowers and beading on the front, a black tied down the back with a white strip in between. Very sleek and beautiful and lovely and frickin' ten bucks. *glee* After our shopping spree, we grabbed some pizza and dropped Paige at work before heading back to Justine's house.

So, Andrew appeared and there was... some unhappiness. I talked with him and mostly got him not-angry at Justine because she sorta blew off plans with him to go for a walk, but, really, she says she told him Paige had work at five, it looked like rain anyway, and they can always go another time. It wasn't so much about this instance, though, but about plans not working out a lot of the time, and Justine generally not being the best at communication, which is something we and her all know. So I tried to help straighten stuff out between them, and then we decided to talk with and visit Katie (since there was also unresolved angst from the previous night -- Watchmen movie plans hadn't worked out mostly because of last-minuteness, but there was still other stuff to be discussed). (...Not that any of this is new to Justine or Katie. Tell me if you want me to shut up and not elljay about it.)

So, Andrew, Justine, and I grabbed Katie and went to the mall -- we still had... a while before it closed for the night. :D We got food, then Katie and Andrew split to go discuss stuff, which I think went well? I dunno. I just wish angst didn't happen. Mmm.
