THe rule for fasting in Judaism is that if it endangers your life, you break the fast. So on a day with triple digit heat and a high risk of dehydration and heat prostration, you still wouldn't eat but you would drink water.
Does it not work that way in Islam?

i will get back to you with a more difinitive answer. i do know that none of the acts of worship we perform for god in islam requires us to endanger health.
