Yepper, Ramadan is around the corner.  July 31 is the date I show on my calendar.  I have health issues this year which may preclude my participating in the fasting.

Speaking of calendars.  I was so surprised to acquire not 1 but 2 calendars from local stores that included Ramadan in the holiday lineup.

Yep, that's what it says.  Starting with January 1 (Muharram 15, 1430), I'll be journaling my daily inspirations.  And if it seems it will benefit others at the end of the year, I'll publish it in a 356 daily inspiration type format.  I've even got a gnarly journal on hold at b&n to start with.  I'll pick it up on payday (today?).  Most of my ( Read more... )
