for some reason, whenever the question is "choose between blahblahblah and blahblahblah!" i see both choices over a pit of hot lava, and there's some guy with a crazy mustache telling me that i can only choose one group.

As for this question, I never take it as you need to pick this person over this person in terms of who you're with for the rest of your life, but more of who you'd take an opinion from or something. I don't know.

Sorry, but life can and does get to a point where your friends will bitch about your SO, and your SO will bitch about your friends. Hell, I bitch about Seth's friends nonstop and I've had my friends tell me I spend too much time with Seth (this was before he was living here), and so what? Compromise and move on, you know?
