Update on the neighbor / trash issue

That is a good example of the lesson of walking a mile in someone's shoes before you judge them.

I really want to get to know them a little better. Her kids are naturally curious and I was showing them the fallen pecans from the massive tree in their yard near our common fence, and that got them to finding pecan shells in their yard for a good half hour. When they were out front with the sidewalk chalk, I found a walnut from the big tree across the street and pointed both out to them. One of the little girls asked me "How do you know so much?" And I told them that I read a lot of books, and I read books about plants and trees.

I brought out my grabbers and 5-gallon bucket and showed them how I picked up litter with it, and they thought it was the greatest toy ever, and picked up several pieces of litter in their yard.

I actually want to find out how to spell their names, the kids do not articulate very well, and it would help if I could actually call them by name.
