ok...slight problem...I like this kid...but I still like my x...and this kid doesnt like me like that I dont think...but I'm not sure...he jokes around with me all the time but doesnt say anything seriously about it...I don't think...and I know he likes this other girl...but he says that she doesn't like him...I talk to this kid a lot...and yeah...

I dated one of my close guy friends and frankly wouldn't reccommend it. When you break up, it is just weird between the two of you. Going into it, we were like "oh, we'll just return to normal if/when we break up." (I guess a breakup was inevitable because of me leaving for college). EHHH... wrong answer. I haven't spoken to him in about 3 weeks, which sucks because I really liked him as a friend. So long story short- In my experience, it's not the best thing to do.

i think if you like this guy taht you should tell him, and maybe date him. BUT you have to be sure its okay if it makes things weird. but if it does make it weird just keep talking to him, im sure he'lll talk back if you give him the chance. option B; dont date him, and always wonder. yay that would be fun. but do whatever you want to do, i dont know your relationship with this guy. but have fun and dont worry.
