Damn the stupid thief! Hopefully their head will explode when they try to read The Tin Drum!

Word of the month is a great innovation! I thought of something like this for English, but I forget my new words too quickly. But my two favorites right now are "albeit", "vicinity", and "probation process".

Cats, hmm? For you anything :)

Yes, that's one of the reasons for this innovation;) Our lecturers are great source of useful (in every possible way) words (well, I guess that this is the main purpose of native speakers;)), especially of some words from their Andalusian dialect. (Actually, only Cuban Spanish is even less understandable, but the lisping is so cute.)

Danae, can I see... bed-clothes on the photo? Does it mean... cats in a bed? Too good to be true!

I think I will enjoy learning the Spanish vocabulary this way. Till now, Spanish was a Spanish village to me - I mean, Spanish was all Chinese to me ;) BTW, I've heard that the Spanish speakers use in the similar situation the idiom "a Hungarian village". Is that true?

The cats usually move in when we get up. They don't like crowded places. But one of them visits me even during the night from time to time: she snuggles under my cover and purrs for few minutes before she returns to her own little bed. It's sweet :)

It's a shame, but I must admit that I don't know, altough I've heard something like this, too. But I'll ask when the next term starts.

Ok, no more talking about cats, it's too painful;o)

It is said about dogs that they tend to be more well-disposed to people of opposite sex and for our dogs I can confirm it. So the cats aren't so easily affected by hormones?;o)

Dogville... Where to begin. Lars von Trier is a mad genius. I knew it ever since I watched his "Kingdom" on TV.

It is a great film, but I don´t want to see it again. From about a half I wanted to kill everyone, save Grace. I only ranted "bitches bitches bitches..." - now I realize how fitting the film title is.

At the end I nearly got some sort of movie induced orgasm - when Grace says to the mafia hitmen that there is a family with children in the town (at that moment I was like: "If you spare them, I will go berserk.") and than she tells them to shoot first two children and if their mother does not cry, to let the rest live (I almost started to applaud. Pure genius! Such a perfect analogy of the scene where the women broke Grace´s porcelain figures.).

It left me emotionally drained.
