My 43Things profile turns two years old in a few days, and I thought I'd take a minute to reflect on the things I've accomplished (and managed to commit to the internet) over that time. In (kind of) chronological order and including a brief statement of my feelings about each item, followed by verbose commentary:

there are a lot of interesting things here that i would respond to, but i'll just say this one thing:

i wish i could say that Beck had no influence on me playing harmonica, but really, hearing live versions of the song "one foot in the grave" was what "actually" inspired me to start playing.

i have strong emotions about music elitism, but i will say this, there are no embarrassing tastes or influences in my book.

That's frackin amazing, man. I wish I could accomplish goals I set for myself. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at setting goals in the first place, and completing them is thus impossible. Maybe when (if) I get a job next year?
