I really liked the way you creatively structured this introduction. I felt sad for you with all the changes growing up. I look forward to reading more from you!
I used to struggle with tense a lot, and I probably still do occasionally. I didn't even understand what it was until I had a friend explain it to me when I kept making so many mistakes with it. And then I wrote a whole novel wherein I intentionally changed tenses each chapter. XD
That's what they say, anyway. I think it depends how you let yourself react to it in the long term.
Your narrative flowed seamlessly. I always had a hard time with tense, too. I tend to get swept up in the moment. It was the criticism I received most often. I really look forward to reading your entries. Thanks for sharing your story. Your frankness is refreshing.
This is a lovely introduction. I can't imagine being uprooted as much as you have been! I'm such a creature of habit and routine that the thought makes me tremble! I look forward to hearing more from you. And good luck on the job search!
I'm the opposite. If I'm in one place too long, I start to get antsy. I'm trying to change that though. I never was able to answer the question "Where did you grow up?" and I've never plated roots. I kind of want roots.
Hey Jenn! Good luck with your future career prospects! I was not popular in school either, but I had my own circle of friends that were "rejects" like me, so I was never very lonely. Have fun this season!

It was an interesting childhood, that's for sure. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?
I look forward to reading more from you as well. :)
