Don't do drugs, kids. Yeah, I know that's obvious. But prolonged use really kills your bain cells. My father is a perfect example. How that man is still alive astounds me. How he never ended up in jail boggles my mind. It defies all odds ( Read more... )

That's some craziness right there. Take care of yourself and your brother as best you can.

Perhaps the one saving grace is your dad, very much like my father, won't ever see any of these entries! My dad doesn't do drugs, but as a former police officer, advocates for legalizing drugs, primarily because people are being locked up for offenses that don't deserve that kind of treatment, but also to help regulate them.

It seems like maybe someone should have gone up to your brother's, rather than have him come to our seriously weird medical situation. Good wishes to everyone!

I'm heartened and sad to read of your dad's condition, but do not blame the "symptom".

As someone who has friends who smoke pot fairly regularly and we have indulged in hard drugs on occasion, at one point every weekend for almost a two year period, it's not the drugs. It's the person too. It could also be the particular drugs. I've never touched heroin or cocaine, only psychedelics.

Just saying, don't go blaming all the drugs. Just some of the drugs and then also, the person. Then hope the best for everyone in the circle. Especially you and your brother, affected by the situation.
