Since my Post-Portland Depression, my life has been a whirlwind. One week I'm in New York; the next week, a random trip to Boston with a pseudo-friend. I saw my first New York rat and got lost on the subway. I've dealt with two dead batteries and three different cars. God, I miss you. Maybe I should move down to NYC and we'll just start a new life there instead of smelly Portland. A genuine NY rat!! That's an accomplishment. And if anyone should get lost on a Subway, it's you, because you've always been so good at getting un-lost.

Sorry it's rough for you right now, my sweet. You'll get into that city groove and be a New York hipster soon enough. It sounds like you just need to be able to settle in and chill out without all these other stresses (two dead batteries? three cars? parental battle? UGH!) for awhile... when does school start for you?

I hope that you find happiness in the little things, like sweet ass haircuts and awesome ink (post.pictures.or.the.mikie.cries.) and friends like Mikie who care about you a whole lot and have faith in you and your life in the rat infested streets of New York.

By the way...
