A1 - selfish no.
p2 - leaving here always sounded beautiful to me so I understand. But its a whole new place you go to. you don't know where to buy your groceries, you don't know gas stations, you don't know people or how to get around. You don't have anything you belong to or that belongs to you really. Its a scary concept, but by and by all you really need is yourself. I think I'm too afraid to pack up and go myself, not without some backing behing me like a college degree and a job and stuff.
f3 - I agree that people don't seem to understand the extent of the loyalty that comes with being certain peoples friends. I know I'd do anything if I could for my friends so I have no trouble believeing other people when they say it. ^_^

e4 - but upon leaving, realize that problems tend to follow people. Its hard to shake them off your trail a lot of times no matter where you go. Then again if problem = parents then leaving takes care of most of that.

Q5 - I hate florida.
