I had busy and exciting weekend
Last Monday I saw on the paper, Gramedia opened its new outlet at Golden Truly Gn Sahari. And gave 30% discount all items for the whole week I went there on Thursday, bought some stationary for myself and Stephanie Meyer’s NEW MOON.
I was thinking to buy the first book, but I’ve read couple pages from the e-book. I’m not so into it. So I bought the second one.
The next day, Friday, I returned, this time to buy stationary.for office. Since there’s only 3 copies left of TWILIGHT and come on …it’s 30% discount….. so I took it along with Jack Canfield’s KEY TO LIVING OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.
So now, I have these 2 books of Twilight series.
Saving the books for lebaran holiday ..
Mangdu - Pasar Baru
On Saturday , went to Mangdu to buy :
- birthday gifts for Fenny and my sister in law
- dvd blank, diskettes, mouse
- Bangkok love story dvd
- Shirts for Lebaran gifts to some people who help me a lot.
Before went to mangdu, I had to stop by at the office. I’ve left my camera’s memory card stuck in the card reader. Since on Sunday is mom’s b’day & I will have reunion with my friends. I need to get the card.
After 3 hours at mangdu I got everything I needed except the Bangkok Love Story … so Heppy onegaishimasu for finding the better quality download link rather than that crunchyroll’s link …. J
And advice from me.. if you really don’t have any urgent matters, stay away from Mangdu till the Taqbiran day. It’s super duper crowded especially at ITC & Pusat Grosir.
From Mangdu I went to Pasar Baru .. it’s not only the shopping centre jammed, but also the traffic around Mangdu, Thanks to Kuya my friend who had told me these little narrow streets around P.Jayakarta, Mg Besar, Pasar Baru years ago . So I didn’t have to be trapped in the jammed traffic.
And Pasar Baru is nothing better. And the parking area along Samanhudi street had been decreased, thanks God there’s one car was leaving out, so I took in. Besides buying medicines, I also looking for some batik for Fenny. Only one hour at Pasar Baru ..
I was so out of breath … yeah when you’re getting older .. .your stamina is getting worse.
Plus I was in my second day period.
I left home at 10 am , then arriving back home at 5 pm …. I was really out of breath ..
I had fallen asleep before 9 pm. But at 9.30 pm I was awaken by un-important phonecall from my Boss… *sigh *
Mom's b'day
Sunday, it’s Mom’s 75th b’day .. Happy b’day Mom. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH …
May GOD grant all the blessings & caring.
We had b’day lunch at our favorite nearby restaurant with my brother’s family and his in-laws. My little nephew lead the pray before the b’day lunch started, th prayer was so beautiful. Good boy kiddo …

Reunion
Fenny is coming home. She’ marries a Singaporean and lives there. She’ll be here for 8 days. And we have our reunion. The five of us. Fenny, Fipy, Ria, Vera & Me.
It’s just like the old times .. and now we’re over 40 years old !!! Yes , We’ve been friends since 1986, it’s only for me.. for the 4 of them it’s much longer they’re been in the same high school.
Since all of them live in Kelapa Gading, so I went to MKG to meet them. You know, that I didn’t step Mall Kelapa Gading for years. And I get lost there. They’re at MKG 2, and I park at MKG 5 , I thought I’ve walked through as Vera instructed, but I still stuck at MKG 3. I’ve asked security, he told me to go downstairs and go to Sogo ..
I couldn’t even find the SOGO … it’s so embarrassing ..
Finally Vera and the gals came to meet me at the MKG 3 … then we went to SIZZLER a.k.a American Grill now ..
Sizzler is our special favorite place from the school times , we celebrated birthdays, Christmas and every other special occasions there.
And the mommies, ( 2 of us already have children ) are having their days out. So no kids around . Thanks GOD !!! I was so worry that they will bring their kids..
From the 5 of us, only me & Ria stay single.
We’re having our good times, chatting, laughing … mostly laughing ourselves. Because we’re who all were toothpicks thin at our younger days, now we’re all fat & flabby.
I just can’t stop thinking .. we’re like the Sex & the City’s girls .. just we’re not fashion freaks … JJ
Sebastian Vettel
I arrived home from Kelapa Gading at 7.45 pm The F1 race was already in half race.
And to my surprise Sebastian Vettel still lead the race.
Since his first taking part in the practice as reserve BMW driver on Turkish 2006 grandprix , at the age of 19. I’ had set my eyes on him and had a strong feeling that this little boy is gonna make a HIT.
This is the same feeling I felt when Kimi debuting his F1 race in 2001.
Eventhough Lewis Hamilton is making more hits, but I never like him !! I dunno just don’t like him. It’s the same way I didn’t like Alonso , and Pablo Montoya.
But this Sebastian Vettel has something special. He didn’t finish often but still he made his own special records.
And at MONZA grandprix !! Now he’s the one holding records for the youngest driver to lead, to pole, and to win.
Some people might say he is lucky because of the weather that made Kimi & Hamilton started from the middle, but he had made 12-13 seconds gap to Mc Laren & BMW cars.
So it’s not only just luck …
Go Sebastian .. go ..
Be the next Kimi or even the next Schummy ..
Someday he might be driving Ferarri’s No. 1 car.
It’s been so long we didn’t hear the combination German & Italian anthems.
You know I overjoyed his winning till I couldn’t sleep ….. JJ
