This was funny and touching, an excellent vignette. I think anyone who's had a grandparent in their lives (ie most everyone) can identify at least a little with this particular brand of sad development.
I've spent every day looking after those with dementia. I understand. I come alive working with individuals at the end of life and/or with dementia. Still, to stay inspired and in touch with your intuition is a gift.
