I love this. :) TMI: I courted cinema in a very similar way. Between 5th and 6th grades, my family moved to a new town. I had so many friends at my old school, but I didn't assimilate well at my new one. During the summer between 6th and 7th grade, I "discovered" film and started my journey as a movie buff. I constantly wonder what would've happened if my family hadn't moved, but I'm very happy the ways things turned out.

I really really liked this. It brings back a definite sense of what it is to be a kid who loves literature.
