being the bearer of bad news is about as
huge a responsibility as it gets.
you're dad must be an incredible person
to do it well, and consistently. i think
it's a gift -- a friend of mine ( daughter of
two doctors, go figure ) has a similar of way of
keeping a room calm, even as she turned it upside down with
whatever it is she had to let us know.
