Decisions, decisions...

I have to start studying and preparing to take a CLEP exam later this summer if I plan on walking in the November commencement ceremony at school. I just can't decide which test to take. I only need 3 elective credits but the exam that looks the easiest to me is "Analyzing & Interpreting Literature" which is a 6 credit exam. So methinks it is ( Read more... )

First, congrats a little early, and second, the English exam will probably be easier for you to do out of the gate w/o a great deal of prep work beforehand. Yeah, it's probably going to be longer, and therefore more work while you're taking it, but I think, like me, analyzing literature for you is probably about as hard as walking or breathing.

As a history major, I'll tell you that cramming a really broad overview of any culture into your head is... well, it goes better if it is done overtime instead of for one particular event, like a test. History is a whole lot more enjoyable to absorb in a class - studying for it is not at all fun. Since it's only 3 credits that probably indicates less writing and more yes/no questions - and for me, I'll always take the writing over the yes/no option of testing.

Good luck - I'm sure you'll be fine either way.

As for the boy, pft. Guys are dumb. Just enjoy the ride hun.
