the pay cut would be substantial, and the research would be in comp sci, not physics or math, so it would help me get to grad school but not a job. also, i have a little one to think about. coming out of school, i will not take a pay cut at all. i will make about the same starting. but i do understand what your saying. now you see my conundrum.
