I really did intend to stick with that meme. I will try to pick it up this week, if possible... just had a few rough days, and then it seemed like a lot to go back and re-post. LJ's been a low priority with everything else going on

Woot for all the new projects upcoming! It's amazing to see the momentum behind Crossroads, and watching all that positive growth is a great thing. It's so exciting to read the words "full time employees", and I imagine writing that is even more exciting. Your business is no longer at that toddler stage.
you either actively work on these things all the time, or you just pretend there's no problem and then wonder where the hell your relationship went wrong..Oh Gods, yes. I'm wearing a similar relationship t-shirt now, and highly recommend sorting it out to the satisfaction of both parties. I went way too long not being firm on the "this needs to be fixed before we go further" line, and now there is chaos

We're getting a Boston Terrier. Going to look at a litter Friday night - if we end up finding the right little lady there, we'll hopefully pick her up Sunday after a party we're going to, and then we'll have our Princess Ralph.
I'm very lucky that we both love each other, and there's nothing irreparably wrong with us - we've just been ignoring things for a good long while that we both know are issues because it's uncomfortable, so it's totally essential we stop doing that.
I'm thinking maybe one of those big stand-up toolboxes from Home Depot... he's been in the middle of a huge organizing project, and has nowhere to put all his tools.
Yay, Bostons! They're great little dogs. If she ends up with soft palette, I am happy to refer you to the surgical team I used to assist. :)
Definitely - addressing things is a good plan. Sometimes, avoidance can give us a bit of a vacation, but like with any vacation, it's best to keep them brief.
I completely believe that Abu Dabi, Amsterdam and other exotic locales totally beats our party. Hell, if I had the plane ticket, I'd skip our party too! One of these days we'll end up in the same place that isn't an Alliance event!
Totally true, having the puppy earlier is a huge bonus - I'm so excited!

Sing it, sister. I totally feel you. The important thing is that you're actively working. :)
w00t calendars, indeed! I'm really excited to get another year out, and this year we'll be doing a couple photoshoots again (likely one here, and possibly one in TX depending on how things go) to produce the next two calendars and get on a better distribution schedule.
I have amazing people working on the back-end of the project with me now, so I'm actually really confident it will keep growing in the next few editions. Thanks for being a part of kicking off our first physical product from Crossroads!!
