Resigned from the Alliance Chair position yesterday, with a transition TBD (but likely very quick from Mike's response). There is no drama or angst here, I just have too much going on to do the position justice ( Read more... )

::big hugs:: Doing less means you can concentrate your efforts on the things you do - it will also mean you have a slight increase in pensive time, as opposed to active time, which will allow your creativity to blossom. :)

Indeed. It's become very clear to me I need more time for reflection, relaxation, and just shutting off the "high performance" mode I've been stuck in for over a year now. I'm burned out to the point of being unable to actively concentrate for long periods of time, and that's a Very Bad Thing.

they have some seriously big shoes to fill with you stepping down. nevertheless, it's good to hear you're talking time to do your own gig -- i think that is Important.

i hope the shoot from this weekend went well! sean metzler is absconding my boyfriend to bring him to npc for you at crossroads this weekend. put him to work!

The shoot was AWESOME!! I'm very excited to see the proofs and start the next phase of the project. We're expecting to at least double our distribution this year, if not better - especially with me having more time to work on it now.

I'm totally stoked to meet Evan! Has to be a great guy to get one of our favorite ladies to commit - we'll do our best to show him a good time.

It was definitely due, and I'm sure you guys will roll along swimmingly with whichever candidate ends up taking the position. There are a lot of people out there that are more passionate than I am about the Alliance right now, and at least a few of them that would be good for coordinating all the talent together.

I'm stoked to hear we'll see you this weekend... PC or Crew?

It's really awesome that you not only recognized the point of "too much to do without losing quality" and that you acted on it. Seriously, knowing when to say "when" is a great thing that isn't always easy to do.

This is coming from someone who wishes that she could see the line coming before she ends up looking back at it!

You rock, lady. You gotta do what you need to do to make yourself as happy and healthy as possible. When you've got too much on your plate, some things get put by the wayside.
