giggly_crunchie and teleksterling told me i hadn't posted in ages. what scared me was that they did it on deviantART! AAAH! that and a comment from vxn saying something along the lines of "You're aliiiiveeeeee!!!!" inspired me to make an effort towards the following

Oooh ... Telek is one of yours! He said he was a "friend of a friend" when he commented about something on deviantArt, I had no idea who!

New keyboards are not cleaning-friendly - the last two I've tried to clean I wasn't able to put back together :S Allegedly (so if you try it and it doesn't work, don't blame me!) you can put them in the dishwasher - I've seen some geeks recommending it in forums. I think it might actually work, since my USB key went through the washing machine once, you just have to be careful about it being *very* dry before you plug it in again.

Oh, and Happy Anniversary :D I'm glad you're happy ... even if it does mean you disappear off the face of the planet for the holidays ;)

Yes, it is true! But I might prefer to say he is one of mine.
But I guess both are good...

I had a friend who managed to spill a cocktail on his keyboard, I and have a classic photo of him running it under the tap in the kitchen sink! He then took it apart to let it dry out. Apparently it all worked fine, except the 'o' key has no 'click' and you have to push it down harder... He really should by a new keyboard, that WAS 2-3 years ago..
