Papa Rat came out of his cage around noon yesterday to say goodbye. He was fine, happy, doing his thing, and then he just wasn't. He was rushed to the vet, who said that he had a very serious heart murmur and was not getting enough oxygen pumped through his body. I made the decision to put him down, rather then let him suffer.
