The LJ went away again after the last update. Firefox seems to do them about every 2 weeks and it takes a week or more for me to get it turned round right again. I just have to face it--I'm going to have to learn to fix it myself. Big sigh

I've no idea why updating Fx would change your settings, but you can always disable the automatic updates, back up your Fx profile when there's an update announced, then download the update, and overwrite the new profile if needs be.

To do that, you need to go to Tools->Options->Advanced->Update. Check/uncheck what needs to be checked so that Fx checks (makes a lot of checks) for updates, but ask you what you want to do with them.

Once there actually is an update, don't, well, update. First, Back up your profile. Then install the new Firefox update. And finally, if you find that the update screwed up with your settings, restore your backed up profile :)

I'm a huge fan of "Hall of the Mountain Kings," and "The Holly and the Ivy," but I love every Snarry you've written, and have read them multiple times. Hullo.

Nothing like finding out one has been impolite enough to not answer something that came months ago. It was probably my inate laziness or something.

I don't really like how most of the stories I have on Inkstained are formatted. All of those odd punctuation changes and disappearing dashes that I have no idea how to fix. Would it happen again at your site if I uploaded them from my files? Could I even find those files? I don't have the time right now to go through and stick it all back in. So, um...I dunno?

I happen to be on vacation this week. If you want, I could do the formatting for you, and upload them. I would just need you to email permission to do so to my email at aliciamasters AT gmail DOT com. You could tell me specific fic, or write a permission that allows me to upload anything Snarry that's archived at a particular site.

I've done the same for Tiranog and Amenuensis, so it has a precedent, but it would be an honor to post yours as well.

As far as I know we wouldn't have that problem, but I do know that bolded and italicized lines need to be added by hand. ;)
