I'm wondering what your take is on photos that are clearly intended to look vintage, but because the photographer is still learning technique, aren't quite there yet?

Glad you asked! I've never had an issue about proficiency with technique - everyone starts somewhere. I think there are some techniques I could stand to brush up on and I've certainly seen better work here than I could do. My issue is simply with people who just don't get the point of this community and try to push it to the line.

For what it's worth, I think your technique in the recent posts you made is just fine; I'd have put your hair in a bun though. ; )
