Taking a poll

Ok....need to write an essay 1500 words (so that's what...6 pages?) for my Health and Population course...taking a poll, which one do you think i should do?  #1 seems like it would probably be the easiest to talk at length about, but if he turns out to want actual econ i'm screwed, #2 looks interesting but i have 0 background knowledge and #3  i ( Read more... )

The one labeled 4 seems to be the topic that would give you the most space to work with, as well as a wide variety of case studies you could use. Though I suppose all of them could do that potentially.

I feel like 3 and 4 have the most potential.

ETA: Oh hey, is that your dad writing the My Turn essay in the Newsweek of 3/2? Pretty cool.

Yup. I haven't seen the article but I know he wrote one. His response was 'it's been a long time since I got called Mengele' he tends to write them extra-inflammatory like ;p

It read like a longer version of that NY Times piece you linked to a while back; I liked it a lot.

Who's Mengele? I shall have to get Wikipedia to tell me. oh for god's sake.

a moderately better than passing grade ;p it's unassessed so it doesn't really count, but is a decent opportunity for review.
