t-ara, iu (jiyeon/iu) - voice fetishization. sorta. firequakes May 18 2011, 19:56:43 UTC
When she was young, Jiyeon's mother used to sing lullabies for her and her brother. Her mother isn't a flawless singer, but her voice is nice, and sweet, a little husky but perfect to fall asleep to. The few times she'd be unable too, Jiyeon would wake up in the middle of the night, all sweaty from a bad dream. And then her brother would wake up from all her whimpering, and scold her, until he'd give in and just sing for her an off-key rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star ( ... )

whaaa, oh my god ilu. I definitely didn't expect to receive such a wonderful present mere hours after my list was posted. tbh I didn't think I would ever get a response, so tytyty ♥

this whole thing is perfect. their relationship is spot on, and I'm impressed with how you pulled it off with so few words. I don't blame Jiyeon in the slightest because IU's voice is somethin else entirely. she can take it from high and feminine, to surprisingly deep and raspy like nothing(I've watched her live rendition of I'd Do it All Again more times than any normal person should). thank you again, I'd love to return the favor.

(and omg she really does. I don't speak korean but I can understand a little, and they start talking about it at 9:08 here. these two, I just cannot.)

Dara thinks that Chaerin is the sexist when she’s rapping, especially when she’s performing- commanding the stage with her seductive swagger as charisma seems to ooze from her very being. Dara is pretty sure that everyone in the audience either falls in love with her by the end of the song or else they want to be her ( ... )
