Andriana had not been wrong about it being a long night, but she had been a bit off from the exact reality of the first night with the Raven.  It had not been a long night - it had been the longest night of her life.

Nothing she had done had been right.

This continues to be fantastic. I really enjoyed the scene in which Andy was able to tame Agamemnon - the ordinary character performing the extraordinary is always fun to see. And I'm intrigued by this new development of this shadow figure who is apparently guiding the Raven somehow. I'm eagerly looking forward to more!

Just a note: There seems to be a whole section of text that has been repeated, right after the Raven says, "That's all" to Melean (it jumps back to when she says the same words to Andrianna). If you take out that bit, it might even be short enough to fit with normal sized font.

Excellent. I like the supporting cast you're putting together...especially Agamemnon. And I should have guessed that Ares would be involved somehow. I mean, he always is, right?

I'm happy to hear that you have an outline--I have trouble writing them, myself, but I have to admit they're handy.

I've never worked with one before, but it does seem like it will help me tame this beast.
