It's good to BE writing again. I've been quietly beavering away on Ex Ir at work and on the bus and I meant to do a bit more to it last night but as I said, I started writing PP and didn't stop! LOL

I'm not too bad, I'm still in a bit of pain, perversely enough the side from which I had three teeth removed, the one with the Abcess that was rotting two teeth at once, is absolutely pain free and 100% fine (apart from me sorely missing the teeth, obviously), but the other side is really sore - I'm in a lot of pain with it. I'm also a bit concerned about my throat too - it still hurts after 5 days which shouldn't be happening and I keep coughing up these funny lumps of stuff so I might have a low-level throat infection to contend with. Which would explain why I still have woozy moments.

Have you abandoned Oh Dear God? I think I like it the best of your fics! but I see you haven't worked on it in quite a while. Should I dispair??

Not surprised that you're sore...did they give you good pain meds?

Hi Marcia,

No, I haven't abandoned any of my stories but Oh Dear God is such a difficult one to write that I really have to be in the right mood and my other fics seem to get in the way. But don't despair, it's not abandoned, its just on temporary hiatus. LOL

They didn't give me any pain meds at all - it's Over-the-counter Paracetamol and Ibuprofen for me. Which is fine really, but no pain killers can numb the gum itself short of Lignocaine which I'm not allowed to put on the wounds. And the low-level throat infection I mentioned above in my reply to Rainpuddle13 is causing me the most problems.

Hope you're mouth is feeling better. You could try swishing/gargling with salt water- Do 1 tsp(5 ml) table salt in 1 Cup (240 ml)- then swish/gargle and spit. It can take down some of the swelling and inflammation both in your gums and in your throat.

I'm a horrid tease I know. *snerks* But the chapter is WRITTEN!!! AND complete!! So all it's awaiting now is Beta before I post it. Mynuet happened to be online last night when I finished it and to cheer her up after her FIA move issues I sent it on over for her to read (and to hear her sound and seasoned advice on my characterisations) and you'll be happy to hear that no major rewrites are in the pipeline at all. So I may tease, but this time I have the goods to go all the way... ;-D
