Thanks. Thank god for FIA hey? LOVE FIA *huggles archive* What gets me the most is that it's been sitting there for years just fine, then all of a sudden 'poof' its gone and my fangirls are all squeeing at me asking if I've deleted it. AND I went to the effort to edit down the smut scenes . AND I bet they've removed me from the submission review bypass list - I've been able to post stuff and have it validated automatically straight away - something I earned by sticking to the rules and consulting the mods on my Smut scenes! *le sigh*

Ah well. It's their loss at the end of the day. If they're not careful their archive will be filled with the sort of shit that Vexy plagarises because they'll have alienated all their other writers.

God I hope so. I've opened a help ticket so we'll see - usually if they yank your stuff they're supposed to send you an e-mail telling you whats happened and why, but I've not had anything which is REALLY discourteous and has properly pissed me off.

Do these people even know how much time and effort gets put into a fic like yours? I mean, it is a high quality story and each chapter alone takes so much energy. And then they just rip it down without even telling you why and giving you a chance to fix what they think is wrong with it. *is so disgusted*

Yes, its the not giving me a chance to correct it that has upset me the most I think. Posting story chapters takes a lot of time and effort so it's a real pain in the arse for them to take the entire story down. I mean they could have just taken down the three offending chapters and asked me to edit and resubmit and I would have. But instead they delete the whole thing and tell me that , and I quote:

"Your story was not at all in compliance with the R-rating, or many other rules on the site.

Your story was cited for:
Linking
NC-17 material"

Would it help if a bunch of us went a wrote to the mods. YOur story is awesome and your smut scenes where tasteful and so didn't go over the limit. I can find about 10 to 20 stories that were much more graphic and not even that good.

I don't know. It may help. It may not. You could complain that it's been removed but I doubt it would do any good. Apparently I violated the rules. Discussion, end of. If you can find stories that were worse, the only thing you'll achieve is for those authors to have their stories removed and that really isn't in the spirit of the fanfic community. I imagine that mine was removed because some anal arsefuck complained about it.

But I appreciate the sentiments. The reply I got back from the mods was... terse... to say the least...
