Chateau St. Jean 2005 Chardonnay.
I love this Sonoma grown and created Chardonnay. After heading to the winery, and tasting their Reserve wines (Special wines often blended and created for clubs and the winery specifically, rarely sold in stores), and being sorely disappointed, I fetched a bottle for $11 at Trader Joe's yesterday. A cheap and easy red - Blackstone Pinot Noir. Usually cheap and you can get it at your local grocery store (I can get it at Omalia's downtown for $6)
I also like the Rex Goliath Pinot, it's cheap too and the label is cool - http://www.wineloverspage.com/wines/tn.phtml?id=403

Nice. I usually don't go for that white stuff, but I might grab a bottle on that recommendation!

It seems thats a common thing for a lot of people. Especially young people or non-everyday wine drinkers. People reach right for Cabs and Merlots and Pinots...but there is more out there then that! (And I'm a Pinot girl..)

:D

Let me know if you try it!

Thank you, actually. I only know ANYTHING about red wines, and I have had a couple of whites I liked, but literally only two, so it's good to have some recommendations, because I would like to branch out a bit. Also more coffee. Huzzah.
