Actually, this is from 210 Highway near the Grainger Distribution Center. I work at the Carefree Industrial Park, the tile is not always true as we've had at least one girl quit due to Claustrophobia and anxiety before she even got there!

I have to say that I really don't think it's that bad. It is a bit disconcerting knowing that you are in the very newest area in the caves and you can feel them blasting the limestone in preparation for more facilities. Everyday at 3:00 p.m. or there abouts, you can hear and feel the blasts "BOOM, boom, boom, boom boom" all in a row!

Oh, that's right, I used to live near the Carefree Industrial Park (a name rich in irony, by the way), I should've known..I mistook that building for the Hawthorne Power Plant for some reason.

The BOOMS however, can't be good for one's concentration, that's for sure. :)

It's been a lot colder than this here :-) You'll notice none of the locations I chose were really warm, as I am more of a cool weather girl.

But I'd like to live in Ontario for reasons other than weather & climate ...

The smoke cloud there looks almost artificial.

Scary to think it is real!

A good deal of it is steam due to the cold weather, but there is quite a number of nasties in that stack and its smoke, you can be sure.

my word - that picture is gorgeous!

(I used to live in Chicago, and if you have the money - it's a great place to live)

I really love the feel of Chicago, but I know what you mean about money! The places that appeal to me (as far as living spaces) are so expensive there!

I'd have to have one helluva job to afford that :)
