This is Kitwana Jones, a compact (6',242 lbs), yet fearsome and efficient defensive end for the Edmonton Eskimos. He's just been traded there from Saskatchewan, and he's known for his QB sacks.
Well, Klondike Days was fun. Ladies could dress up as saloon girls, pioneer ladies, town ladies, prospector ladies, etc. Men could dress up as gamblers or trappers or prospectors or town dandies.
There was a promenade when all the cool costumes went out for a stroll downtown.
Then some asshole branding consultant types decided that they needed to "re-brand" the exhibition in order to try and "position" Edmonton as "high tech". Thus they changed it to "Capital Ex" which just sounds like a Sesame Street song and also is souless and stupid.
You can ask anyone - except the assholes - about this. They'll tell you the same.
