yes, i'm tired.  surprise.  who would have thought the mom of a one month old would be tired? ha!

so josie is... high maintenance compared to claire.  some would say colicky... i just say she's a sensitive spirit... that's a positive spin, right?  so i read Happiest Baby on the Block and really liked it.  my sis-in-law who has a little boy just two

I feel for you, Rosemary had a "sensitive spirit." I would not recommend Happiest Toddler on the Block for Claire. I read it for Rosemary and she seemed way too old for it. However, I suppose you could read it to get a head-start for Josie? But, you have a lot on your plate right now!

I do recommend the No-Cry Sleep Solution for your sensitive spirit - if you haven't read it. I read it for Rosemary at about a year and wished I had read it much, much earlier.

i will definitely check into that book. reading is one of the few things i CAN do with her in the sling/while holding her. things are getting a little better, and we're learning what sets her off and what calms her down.
