It's strange how easily I can forget my own birthday. I've been 17 for a little more than a month, and after what happened around Christmas... I still don't feel like celebrating it. How did you... Haro....

I know I shouldn't, but I get so busy with my work sometimes that I forget.

It does growl but when I'm really absorbed by my work, I don't really notice.

It just means I'm another year older, that's all it's ever been for me.

Mama and Papa would surely throw you a party if you wanted one!

No, it's alright, Mileina. I don't feel like celebrating it this year... not if all my friends can't be there.

I didn't know about your birthday.

... also, just a thought, but you might want to think about eating more often. Can't do all those mechanics and stuff if you're starving yourself to death, right?

Not many people do. Haro made sure people found out two years ago.

I've been getting better about it. This is the first time I skipped meals since last month... on accident, of course.

He's a cheeky little thing, huh? Guess he must think he's got your best interests at heart.

You might want to think about setting yourself reminders or something if it's that bad.

Maybe. He knows I've been burying myself in my work for the past month, trying to take my mind off things. He knew I was upset back then too.

If it starts happening frequently again, I might have to start doing that again.

But that means you didn't receive any presents!

No, but it's not a problem.

Nonsense! Young girls must enjoy the springtime of their youth by receiving countless frivolous presents once a year!

I think "countless" is going a little overboard.

...Ian won't be the only one to start nagging you if you keep missing meals, you know. Don't go wasting away on us.

I won't I promise.

But I might need a reminder once if you don't see me out of my room for a few days in a row.

Deal. Are you on your way to getting food right now, or do I have to come drag you to the mess hall?

I went to eat after writing this entry. That's how Haro had time to unlock it.
