JUST MAYBE. Though the Greater Sea isn't sentient, at least. The Lesser Sea...maybe. But that gets into COMPLICATED STUFF that hasn't been revealed yet.
Verra isn't actually a demon; nobody really knows why she's called that. (She's even fairly benevolent. In the way that gods with agendas are. Her agenda happens to be making sure the phenomenal cosmic meddlers never ever set foot on Draegera again...but I digress.) Anyway, she's not actually demonic at all.
Well, from the point in canon that I yanked Lina, I don't think she *knows* yet that she's using pure chaos with Ragna Blade. And uh, I'm pretty sure that Giga Slave won't come up in Camp because haha Godmod like whoa. But if it comes up she will totally want to KNOW MOAR.
Morrolan loves talking magic; when he was first learning he would have stopped eating and sleeping if one of his textbooks hadn't mentioned the need for a balanced program of physical exercise, so he'll be happy to educate her and learn about her magic in return.

Whee. ♥
I dunno, I didn't think psychics are a subset of sorcery exactly. Easterners too have innate psionic ability cause of the Jenoine tampering, don't they? Granted I'm away from books at the moment, but I thought it was more related to witchcraft while also being usable in other contexts, such as Daymar. And Daymar's a pretty unusual guy.
Then again there doesn't seem to be... like... any difference between telepathic communication as commonly used by Dragaerans and as used by witches. Or at least Vlad doesn't see fit to mention one. So maybe psionics are that well tied in with sorcery, although I kind of like the notion of Dragaerans insisting on going through the Orb just to use their own inherent psionic power anyway.
Also, I say it's totally worth noting that Blackwand is a she. There's gotta be someone out there who could tell! :D

Fair points. Dragaerans are little bitches about combining their arts instead of leaving them in nice clean categories, anyhow. I've remembered to check the Lyorn Records for this kind of thing and I'm still not at all clear as to how commonly psychics gets studied, so meh. And on the other side, witchcraft does tend to do a lot of subtle psychic stuff, but then there's also flying castles. The strokes are all very broad.
And hmm yeah, I guess with the telepathy it's more that Vlad just doesn't generally bother to distinguish. He was initially taught telepathic communication by Noish-pa, and later he talks with Dragaerans all the time, so either they're not very different or he had to make some adjustment he hasn't told us about. And it's not like that'd be the first thing he hasn't told us about, but he does also take breaks to explain the mechanics of things sometimes. He just needs to explain that one.
And that's about as far as I can take this tonight without sleep! |D

Yeah, I love the Lyorn records. I think psychic stuff is mostly a Hawk or Aythra thing, but I could easily be conjecturing that off of Daymar. Point about witchcraft; the big difference is the ritual element, I guess. Morrolan actually explained the difference exactly in Issola but I just woke up so I'm not going after the quote yet. XD
I think that in effect they're not very different; he does say that psychic communication is harder without the Orb in Issola (you can tell what I've been rereading, heh.) I think it does come down to power source, at least for that application. But it would be nice if someone explained it. |D

Yeeeah, they may be having a talk. Sometime.
And how demonic are we talking here with the Demon Goddess? Because Schierke has demon-y pings.
