Morrolan e'Drien
Age: 450 or so.
Height: 7 feet and a few inches. Tall Draegeran is tall.
Medical Info: Morrolan is technically not human; his species was genetically modified from human stock by a race of phenomenal cosmic meddlers, apparently because they were bored. Because of the easy availability of sorcerous healing, he has no scars and is very physically healthy, despite coming from a pre-industrial society. His life expectancy is something on the order of three thousand years. He's also stronger and faster than a human, though not supernaturally so; the average Draegeran can probably take the average human in a fight, but it's not a decisive advantage per se.
Eyes: Blue-green
Hair: Black
Physical traits: Morrolan is freakishly tall and skinny, and his ears are very slightly pointed. He's genetically incapable of growing facial hair. He wears his hair long this week, at least but is known to change the style every so often. Generally his clothing is fine, elegant and well-cared for; he favors black and silver, the colors of his House.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: I'm taking him from before Issola, so no spoilers for that book, please. Otherwise he will emo a lot and that would be sad. Other than that, anything is A-OK.
Abilities: Morrolan is one of the finest swordsmen in an Empire which boasts blademasters with thousands of years of study, a capable witch and a highly skilled wizard. (More on the latter two in another post, because the magic in his canon is sort of complicated.) He is also the wielder of the Great Weapon Blackwand, which will also be dealt with elsewhere; for now, suffice to say that it's a soul-eating semisentient longsword which is linked to his soul and defends him in various ways.
Notes for the Psychics: Psychic contact and the defenses against same are a way of life in the Empire, so you're probably not going to get into Morrolan's head unless he lets you in there. Exceptions will be made for ubertelepaths like Daymar someone please app Daymar, but poke me first. People with special senses may or may not be able to detect that he has a goddess linked to his soul.
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Go ahead! He'll flail amusingly.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: I'd like it if you pinged me first, but I'm easy. Bodyswap is an issue because of Blackwand, but we'll work something out.
Maim/Murder/Death: You can certainly try! Understand that attempting any of the above will cause him to try to maim/murder/kill you right back, and he's very good at it. If you do manage to kill him, he won't hold a grudge as long as it was a good fight. Talk to me before you maim him, though, that's harder to fix.
Cooking: It's been a few hundred years since he's had to, but he can probably manage. I'm fairly sure he can brew klava, at least.
