Hi! Sorry to intrude on your journal but I was hoping you could answer a question about Faith for me. I love Korean Period Dramas and I tried to watch Faith a couple of months ago. However, I absolutely hate blood and gore and all the "operating" scenes in the show kinda turned me off. So I stopped watching it at around episode 4 or so. I am however, very intrigued by the story of King Gongmin and the Queen. I think their love story is even more interesting than Lee Min-Ho and the main girl's one XD I watched till the part where the Queen confessed that she learned to speak Korean because of someone she had met in her childhood. Is that someone she is talking about non other than King Gongmin himself? Sorry for asking such a question but it really bothered me for quite some time back then. it's okay. just ask and i'll try my best to help :) yup. the boy that made the queen learn to speak korean was Gongmin. if i'm not mistake, At that time Gongmin was a prisoner, he's captured by Yuan emperor because Yuan want to take control Goryeo (Korea) by marrying their princess to the future King of Goryeo. When Gongmin met the Queen for the first time he think the queen was a Goryeo's/Korean girl because she can speak his language fluently. He ask her to marry him because he can't imagine marrying his enemy. But the queen suddenly disappear after the proposal and only left her handkerchief. And then they married without the king knowing the truth. but don't worry, they finally realize their feeling toward each other. and it turn out the king actually knew about the queen secret and saved her handkerchief all this time :)
