That thunder scared the crap out of me too!! I was in the bathroom for a late night pee and all of a sudden BAMM!!! The power went out, came back on, and a car alarm was screaming loud in the street. The rain sounded like nails pouring down and I was running around the apartment(half asleep) closing windows and unplugging things (because for some reason I thought it was the smart thing to do) It was hilarious!! My cats looked pretty messed up too!
