The Dropping Meme
Not dropping! I'm only doing this while waiting for my download to finish.
Megumi: I keep going through dry spells with Megumi, followed by waves of enthusiasm, then dry spells again. It's nothing that can't be fixed easily. I've been trying to switch into Megumi from later in Princess Princess, when I had been mainly playing Megumi from Day of Revolution before. I fear that the result is a duller character, but there's so much to do with (slightly more) mature Megumi. My chances of dropping her are very low, and perhaps when Mikoto and Tohru drop, she'll go to, but I'll still cling stubbornly to her even then.
Soma: She's my baby, right after Megumi, and easily my second favorite character. When I apped her, she was different than any other character I ever played before. Then season 2 happened, and she got so awesome! My problem with Soma is that I can't balance her old voice with her new voice, which keeps seeping in whenever I thread >< Hopefully this will go away when we canon update. Chances of dropping her are low, although if Allelujah drops, Marie may have to follow. We'll see.
Saki: I can play her in my sleep. She's amazing and so easy to handle. I have no worries with her, although I'd like to review canon for some consistency. My previous issue with her was that I didn't know how to handle her anime voice (which I ignore, tbh, since it's vastly different than her manga one), and her disposition later in the manga. I'm comfortable with her as she's in now, and she's here to stay.
Sumeragi: She's the one I've been flirting with dropping a couple of months back. I don't think I'm doing her justice. I'm not even smart enough to play her. I'm finally settling into place with her, and she's getting so much background canon now, which makes me feel even guiltier about playing her. Someone else could be doing a better job, but I'll still try to do my best. She'll probably go when the rest of Celestial Being drop.
Alto: Frontier movie woohoo! He's fun. He's cracky. He's so easy to play. If I'm doing things wrong with him, please hit me on the head and let me know, since I tend to get carried away. I like to think people enjoy threading with her, and if that's the case, then that's enough for me.
Natsuki: She's the other character I feel guilty about. I apped Natsuki mostly from memory, and I got caught up in course work that I never really had the chance to canon review properly for her. It doesn't help that while she's a main-ish character, she's barely in the anime for the first half of the series. I feel like I'm being very generic when I play her, but I have to canon review and try my best. She goes when Shizuru goes :(b
