My honest opinion: I hate accidentally stumbling upon pornography when web surfing. For one thing, I wasn't even searching for any porn sites when web surfing... I was surfing for things completely unrelated to porn. It also sucks when I try to click "Back" on my browser, but the porn site won't let me go back. Instead, it opens up a bunch more windows I don't want, and when I try to close them, they keep opening even more windows. Argh!

Thank you!

Also, porn has made a number of people internet addicts, but at the same time, has made others hate the internet. I do hate finding it when I don't want it, though.

Really, I bet it's done a lot to society, I'm just too tired to think of much else XD

I wrote a bit about porn in my paper on vampires as sexual icons. About how porn has made society bored with just plain ol' sexual intercourse and now they often have to resort to stranger sexual-ish things to reach the point of arousal. But that's for my vampire paper, not porn in general...

So, um, porn has made vampires sexier?

Also, I think it contributes to the divorce rate in America. I mean... it's reaching new highs, and I think some of it might have to do with internet pornography... Since it's more accessible and all. Wives get more jealous. Men spend more time yanking in front of the computer than with their wives and then they start to think their wife isn't hot enough and stuff. And then nobody is happy. T_T

Personally I feel porn is just kinda there. I do hate running into it on the inernet when I am trying to find info cooking but for the most part I have no real preference towards it ( ... )

Porn is just legalized prostitution. Kind of like it's replacement. There have always been ways to buy sex, and porn is one of the few sources left available today. I really don't care about its existence, because I don't feel the need to pay for sex. I do think, though, that as long as the sex shown is consensual, there's nothing wrong with it existing. Blah blah blah.

In terms of its effect on society, I actually think it's done mostly good, not bad. Pornography shows sex for what it is, entertainment. These days believing it is only for procreation is just ignorant, in my opinion. Sex is fun and a way to bond with the person you love. I also think it helps make sex less of a taboo. Sex is not dirty, or something one should be ashamed of or hide. It's perfectly natural.

YAY PRON.
