I have never been one to dabble in these types of fandom wars, but after reading so many articles, blog entries and threads, maybe it's time for me to take a stab at it.
I have to tell you, that this is one bold post. That being said -- you're completely right. Thank you for summing up all the things I've been saying for weeks. Love it.
You are very much welcome. I have noticed a lot of Jason fans have been on defense all week, and I do hope this can help. Whether you're a fan of Jason, Brooke, David Cook, David Archuleta or whomever, I think the idea that "American Idol is what you make it to be" is something we can all agree on. Thank you again, and I hope a lot more AI viewers (and forum activists) will be able to read this.
Wow, thank you. I'm glad you agree with the things written up there. I hope this will be able to help all those Jason fans who have been on defense since last week (or maybe since the beginning of the show even).
:) First of all, let me just say that I totally appreciate the level of maturity that you came at this with.
Anyways, this comment is BASICALLY unnecessary, but I just wanted you to know that I'm glad someone out there shares the same opinions, essentially, as I do. Some people do get a little worked up over things when, in the end, it just comes down to the music - enjoying it - and the big picture.
Thank you. I think everyone of us has the tendency to let loose in times of stress and (sometimes) desperation. But I don't suppose the world is ready for another one of those "BUT JASON SOOOOO DESERVES TO BE IN THE TOP 5!!!!!! WHO CARES ABOUT UR FAVE?!" comment. Honestly, I won't be able to bring myself to write such a thing.
That aside, the comment is much appreciated. Thanks for that, Sam. It really ends up with us as viewers making a choice of watching the show and participating in the voting process.
I love this entry. I cannot even think of a single thing you mentioned that I don't agree with and you can be certain I'll be linking to this post the next time I read an unnecessarily rude comment about Jason (or any of them, for that matter). Thanks so much for writing it!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. There are times we forget that the term "fan" is short for "fanatic", making us talk badly about each other fanatical behavior. XD I look forward to a lot more people reading this, because I think anyone going for the AI craze (whether a fan of Jason, Cook, Carly, or anyone of them) will benefit. Allow me to quote Chikezie when I say, "at this point, no one's a loser".
Truth be told, dear. I like reading things like this. XD You could be a good debater, you have point strong reasonings and arguments. lol ;p ignore me. XD
Yes. Only stating what you have stated: People has their different reasons for entering their votes for respective contestant--even if it's only about the way they look. And about American Idol is not just singing, I will state the same with Indonesian Idol back in Indonesia. XD Singing is only of the greatest aspects of this competition since they keep on stressing things on singing, but all the while viewing things outside of singing which is actually miscellaneous if it is singing competition. And what you said about them being
( ... )
Funny that you mentioned me being a debater -- hm, long story, but I won't get into that.
Anyway, I'm happy I was able to stimulate you intellectual with this article. Cool, isn't it?
Yes, you are right that singing is a part of it, but it's not all of it. Idol doesn't equate to someone who is just a good singer, yes, yes, yes. Instead, an idol is someone people idolize, hence the term IDOL.

I hope people will get that idea though.
