I am so completely ready for this school year to be over. One week down with the WASL, one more to go. I'm trying to decide if I will bow to my boring curriculum, or defeat it with unpaid creativity and time. I just don't know which I want to do ( Read more... )

I'm with ya. I try not to make it about the goal, the destination. But right now the journey is a pain in the ass. What school are you changing to next year?

I don't know if I'll be teaching when we move to Japan. Not right away in August, that's for sure. I want to volunteer at multiple International schools to get a feel for their teaching methods and up my chances (hopefully) of getting hired in some capacity.

When we return to the U.S. I hope to teach in a different district, maybe still middle school, maybe upper elementary, like 4-6th grade.
