Hey Kinga! :) I've missed you! *gives you huge hug* That does sound like a rough six months. :( My dad also died of cancer a few years back, so I know what that's like. I hope you're holding up well.
I have yet to watch the new S5 House episodes that I recorded, but I plan to get on them before next week's ep. I CAN'T WAIT! :D I hope you get around to sharing your thoughts on the eps soon. I always love your insights. :)
Hi Lauren, *hugs you tightly in return* I missed you too, girl.
Yeah, it was a hard time. But I'm ok now. I rememer your Dad is dead too :( And as morbid as this may sound, we have another thing in common. :) My faith in God was one of the things that helped me quite a lot.
I still can't believe you haven't seen the S5 of House! You're missing girl! This season is definitely one of the best. You better catch up *shakes her finger* ;)
And I'll wirter my thoughts even if solely for you so we can compare notes and fall into deep disscussions about it all *grin* I love to read your insights as well :D
Glad to know I was missed. ;) *hugs you again* It's been forever since I've had some really deep House discussion! All of the Huddy forums/threads are stuck on the same "Huddy sex" topic. Fun as that is, I prefer some real discussion of the characters and plot. :)
I'm so glad that you're doing well now. One,beneficial thing, I guess (can't think of a better way to put it) about cancer is that the family and friends have time to prepare and adjust. Say good bye. And faith is so essential in such situations. You have to have that bigger picture of things so you don't lose perspective. :)
I know! I know! I NEED to get on my House watching! I'm going to try and get on that this weekend. I'll be sure to post my ep-by-ep thoughts on my LJ. :D I can't wait to share thoughts with you! This season looks VERy promising!
And I know what you mean about the lack of deep discussion in Huddy fandom. I love reading the flailing over some promo pics or Huddy scenes or their sex life, but I need deep discussions, I thrive for them. As you can see I'm capable of writing four pages long essay (in Word) of ONE Huddy scene... I live for those deep discussions ;) So I'm wating for you to catch up and we can start our fun :) I'll post my review/thoughts on Dying Changes Everything soon.
I agree with you about the family being able to adjust to the thought of thier member dying. We were all expecting it, just not this soon. He was feeling very well. He actually didn't died becuase of the cancer per see, it was because of thrombosis that was caused by the cancer. It was a sudden death. I'm only glad that he went quickly and without any suffering.
