House MD 4x14 and Huddy goodness :D
I’ve just finished watching the new episode of House MD.
Beware! Fangirl ramblings ;)
Firstly, so much Cuddy! She just rocks my world! I really loved all her scenes (and the fact that most were with House *grin* ) And I can believe how many Huddy scenes we’ve got. And there was not a one in the promo! I can’t believe House was willing to put his job to save Cuddy’s. We’ve been talking few threads earlier how it would be great to have him help Cuddy save her job if it was endangered. And we actually got this plotline in this ep! I can’t believe that! We knew she was willing to do everything to save him, and now we have a proof he’s as well. It’s all canon! And did he ever do something for someone else? Remotely as good as what he was willing to do for Cuddy? He surely didn’t play a friend for Wilson when his marriage was falling apart, and I’m sure it was important for Wilson. Yet he knows Cuddy’s job matters to her, so he tried to protect it and thus protect her. And don’t forget how that scene ended! She decided to not take his offer of sacrifice (can you believe it he was willing to sacrifice! House was willing to sacrifice!) but to support him. And when she said this there was such a beautiful song in the background! It was, well, romantic settings.
Secondly, I just adore the ending scene. He called Cuddy to share his result of resolving the case. And how he said ‘Goodnight Cuddy’ to her! OMG, can you hear him saying it to Wilson in, say, Act You Age or Words And Deeds? Take it and pack it with more warmness. *le sigh* Can you say love? (on the side note: I always wonder why she’s sleeping on the side of the bed. She’s alone and she has a big bed. If I was her I’d take all of its space to sleep. But she’s not. Is the other half of the bed reserved for someone? Notice how it was the right side of the bed that was empty. Just the side House usually sleeps on… makes you wonder doesn’t it? *evil grin*)
Next thing is Wamber. I really loved this plotline. Amber clearly cares for Wilson a lot. What’s more she wants their relationship to work out. She can see what was the problem with his previous marriages and is trying to stop him from making the same mistakes. She knows he's not a whim in reality, but that he subdues to his wives’ wishes and ends up resenting them. She tries to make him see this and act around her naturally. It shows that Wamber can actually work out. They can work out to be together in a long term relationship. I really loved how they laid together on the floor in their last scene... It was such a tender moment. we could see not only the passion of them but the tenderness as well. I'm so happy right now. And I loved how Amber was again similar to House. this time in terms of manipulating/getting what she wants from third parties. How she pretended to be pregnant. I laughed then so much. Amber rocks! And Wilson actually said he loved her!
Another thing I liked was how they showed us the difference between the old and new Ducklings. I was SO NOT happy with the amount of Hameron scenes we’ve got in this ep, but after my second watching I noticed the purpose of them. It showed us that the new Ducklings have a long way of learning before them to get in the level of the old ones. It showed us the difference between Cameron and Thirteen (I really start to like her, BTW, somuch better and prettier than Cameron…; on the side note: Did you noticed the Kutner/Thirteen scenes or is it only me? I wouldn’t mind this ship…) It looks like Thirteen is not happy with being compared to Cameron./being the Cameron 2. Which I like. This ep reminded me why I don’t like Cameron in the first place… Anyway, another thing I really liked was how House arguing/squabbling with Foreman in this ep. I think I’m starting to like him more… And where was my Chase? I was not that happy with the lack of him in this ep. They should have cut half of the Cameron scenes and put him there somewhere…
All in all I liked the ep. It was good. Funny and full of Cuddy/Huddy goodness. Can’t wait till next ep. Especially after that promo! O.M.G! is it Monday already? How am I going to survive till next ep? The fantasy scene! And then Cuddy’s panicked scream when he fainted! I want Monday…
