I don't know how much my opinion matters since I was never here before, but I understand the worry about favoritism. I also understand wanting people to know that it's you who won. So what if people post anonymously, but then the winner's get to claim their story and their name can be announced after they've already won? That way, favoritism wouldn't be possible, but winners would still get the credit, and thus, bragging rights, they deserve.

Also, sorry for the double post, I was looking at the general bandom issue and thought that a compromise with cross-overs (other bands can be included as long as there's also MCR)would be a good way to solve that. (I may be biased as a big Gerard/Bert fan, though haha)
