We had a pleasant day in the high country searching for mushrooms, came home with (I believe) several young Queen Boletes (Boletus aereus) (it's hard distinguishing between King Boletes and Queens), a few aspen oysters (Pleurotus populinus), one massive Blewit (Clitocybe nuda) (need to verify the ID here), and one potential Shrimp Russula (fish

Colorado. The ones we found were very, very young / small, but that's the way I prefer them: the younger they are, the more dense the flesh. I don't like them large & marshmallow-y! :)
