Well, I never got around to buying a camera (which I asked about last May), so I figured I'd see if there were any more recommendations now

If you use a Tripod I bet you see an increase in quality from your current camera.

true. But I need a new one anyways- cause the battery latch is broken and wont shut. It still works, but it's annoying.
