I'm hearing some concerns from my friends about the H1N1 vaccine. People don't seem to have all the information about the vaccine, and are trying to make decisions about their health based on hearsay. Not so good. Thank you for that. :-) Unfortunately, I'm in with the [1] crowd.

A friend who was in for the weekend mentioned that this isn't actually the first time it's been around. He mentioned the winter of 76. I had the flu, that winter.. so badly that I literally could NOT get out of bed unless I crawled. I was sick for a week and took about two months to fully recover. I may be immune. :-)

That would actually be another one to add to the FAQ -- the H1N1 strain of 1976 is not sufficiently similar to this one to provide any protection.
